Clinic with Zoey this time with Gabriel Armando

(there are no photos so the above from my Texas trip will have to do)

A week after returning from Texas, Zoey and I did a lesson with Amy’s trainer, Gabriel Armando. We did a lesson once before and enjoyed it, so came back again.

It was, of course, 38 degrees on the day of our lesson. I decided to try my fleece lined breeches that I bought at the end of last winter. They are not super thick but are definitely warmer than regular breeches. Thankfully it was not raining.

Zoey and I had our lesson at Amy’s farm. It is always good for us to go different places, especially since Amy has a ring.

We worked mostly on half halts and Zoey’s balance, also when to give back. Zoey was really good and became much lighter  and more responsive. Timing is something I have always struggled with. Zoey also really likes to know she is right. Must. Remember. This.

Also I was freezing and sometimes this makes me so stiff and tight. I think I persevered ok.

Aren’t Aiken winters supposed to be warm?
